System Administrator

Job Description

Zenni Optical is seeking a System Administrator to join their Center of Excellence for Customer Service in the Philippines. This role is crucial for managing, maintaining, and securing server systems and IT infrastructure across both on-premise and cloud environments. The System Administrator will support a hybrid infrastructure spanning multiple locations, including the Philippines, Marin County, Ohio, China, and India. They will report to the Director of IT Security & Infrastructure and will be based onsite at the Zenni COE Center in the Philippines.Responsibilities include:

• Providing operational support for server infrastructure.
• Managing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux servers.
• Monitoring and resolving system issues.
• Implementing system-level security controls.
• Recommending and initiating system upgrades.
• Maintaining system documentation.
• Providing system and end-user support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration.
• In-depth knowledge of server management and virtualization.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Understanding of authentication protocols and system security best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and hybrid cloud environments.
• Advanced knowledge of scripting and automation tools.
