Site Reliability Engineer at GSR

GSR, a leading market maker in cryptocurrency trading, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in London. This role involves designing, optimizing, and supporting highly available systems across GSR's global trading infrastructure. The Site Reliability Engineer will manage a multi-regional cloud environment and integrate physical server inventory using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Responsibilities:

• Managing a multi-regional cloud environment
• Integrating and automating physical server inventory using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Improve latency, scalability, and reliability

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in container security and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of clusters, storage, Kafka, Aeron, and experience with multicast or HPC
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, or Rust with experience in IaC tools and immutable infrastructure
• Familiarity with FluxCD, ArgoCD, and custom CD deployments. Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of Linux internals, cgroups, routing, switching, firewalls, and DNS/service discovery
• Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and database administration
