Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Short-Term Power Trader to manage and optimise its European power portfolio. This role is based in Dubai, UAE, and focuses on developing trading strategies for markets ranging from Day Ahead to Month Ahead, with a particular emphasis on Eastern Europe and South East Europe (SEE).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute trading strategies across multiple European markets.
• Identify and capitalise on market inefficiencies in Eastern Europe and SEE.

• Produce data-driven market reports detailing trade rationales and performance drivers.
• Provide round-the-clock market coverage as part of a dedicated trading team.

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ track record in short-term European power markets.
• Demonstrable expertise in Eastern European and South East European power markets.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools (Python, R, or Excel VBA).
• Ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
• Experience in cross-border trading and capacity markets is advantageous.
