Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Short-Term Power Trader to manage and optimize its European power portfolio. The successful candidate will develop trading strategies across Day Ahead to Month Ahead markets, with a focus on Eastern Europe and South East Europe (SEE). This role involves collaborating with analysts and systematic traders to capitalize on market inefficiencies and maximize profitability within a dynamic trading environment located in Dubai.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing trading strategies across multiple European markets.
• Identifying and capitalizing on market inefficiencies in Eastern Europe and SEE.
• Collaborating with systematic traders to blend quantitative methods with discretionary strategies.
• Producing data-driven market reports detailing trade rationales and performance drivers.
• Providing round-the-clock market coverage as part of a dedicated trading team.

Requirements include:

• 2+ years’ track record trading in short-term European power markets.
• Demonstrable expertise in Eastern European and South East European power markets.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools (Python, R, or Excel VBA).
• Ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
• Experience in cross-border trading and capacity markets is advantageous.
