Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Short-Term Power Trader to manage and optimise their European power portfolio. The ideal candidate will develop trading strategies, identify market opportunities, and collaborate with analysts and systematic traders to maximise profitability.

The role involves:

• Developing and executing trading strategies across multiple European markets.
• Identifying and capitalising on market inefficiencies.
• Collaborating with systematic traders.

The requirements are:

• 2+ years’ track record in short-term European power markets.
• Expertise in Eastern European and South East European (SEE) power markets.
• Exceptional analytical skills (Python, R, or Excel VBA).
• Ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
• Experience in cross-border trading and capacity markets (advantageous).
