Short Term Power Trader - SEE at Cobblestone Energy - Dubai, UAE.

Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Short-Term Power Trader to manage and optimise its European power portfolio. The role is based in Dubai, UAE and requires demonstrable expertise in Eastern European and South East European (SEE) power markets.

The candidate will work closely with analysts and systematic traders to develop trading strategies, analyse market inefficiencies, and capitalise on opportunities across various trading horizons from Day Ahead to Month Ahead. The individual will also produce data-driven market reports and provide round-the-clock market coverage as part of a dedicated trading team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute trading strategies across multiple European markets.

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ confirmed track record of solid performance trading in short-term European power markets.
• Demonstrable expertise and a proven track record in Eastern European and South East European power markets.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools such as Python, R, or Excel VBA.
• Ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
• Experience in cross-border trading and capacity markets is advantageous.
