Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Short-Term Power Trader to manage and optimise their European power portfolio, with a focus on Eastern Europe and South East Europe (SEE) markets. The ideal candidate will develop trading strategies across various trading horizons, from Day Ahead to Month Ahead, and collaborate with analysts and systematic traders to maximise profitability.

The role is Dubai based and Cobblestone Energy will provide Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing trading strategies across multiple European markets.
• Identifying and capitalising on market inefficiencies.
• Collaborating with systematic traders.
• Producing clear, data-driven market reports.
• Providing round-the-clock market coverage.

Requirements include:

• 2+ years’ confirmed track record of solid performance trading in short-term European power markets.
• Demonstrable expertise and a proven track record in Eastern European and South East European power markets.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools such as Python, R, or Excel VBA.
• Ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
