Short Term Power Trader - SEE at Cobblestone Energy - Dubai, UAE.

Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Short-Term Power Trader to manage and optimise their European power portfolio. The successful candidate will develop trading strategies to identify opportunities across various trading horizons, focusing on Day Ahead to Month Ahead markets, with consideration given to those with Day Ahead to Intraday experience.

The trader will collaborate with analysts and systematic traders, utilising advanced tools and insights to maximise profitability, with a mandatory requirement of demonstrable experience in Eastern European and South East European power markets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute trading strategies across multiple European markets.
• Identify and capitalise on market inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with systematic traders.
• Produce clear, data-driven market reports.
• Provide round-the-clock market coverage.

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ track record of solid performance trading in short-term European power markets.
• Demonstrable expertise in Eastern European and South East European power markets.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools such as Python, R, or Excel VBA.
• Ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
