Short Term Power Trader - SEE at Cobblestone Energy - Dubai, UAE.

Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Short-Term Power Trader to manage and optimise its European power portfolio. The role involves developing trading strategies, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with analysts and systematic traders to maximise profitability. The ideal candidate will focus on markets ranging from Day Ahead to Month Ahead, with consideration given to those with Day Ahead to Intraday experience. Demonstrable experience in Eastern European and South East European power markets is mandatory.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing trading strategies across multiple European markets.
• Identifying and capitalizing on market inefficiencies, particularly in Eastern Europe and SEE.
• Collaborating with systematic traders .
• Producing data-driven market reports.
• Providing round-the-clock market coverage.

Requirements include:

• 2+ years’ track record in short-term European power markets.
• Expertise in Eastern European and South East European power markets.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools (Python, R, or Excel VBA).
• Ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
• Experience in cross-border trading and capacity markets is advantageous.
