Cobblestone Energy is seeking a Short-Term Power Trader to manage and optimise their European power portfolio. The role is based in Dubai, UAE and requires demonstrable experience in Eastern European and South East European (SEE) power markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with analysts and systematic traders to develop trading strategies across various trading horizons, focusing on markets ranging from Day Ahead to Month Ahead.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing trading strategies across multiple European markets.
• Identifying and capitalising on market inefficiencies.
• Collaborating with systematic traders.
• Producing clear, data-driven market reports.
• Providing round-the-clock market coverage.

Requirements include:

• 2+ years’ track record in short-term European power markets.
• Expertise in Eastern European and South East European power markets.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools (Python, R, or Excel VBA).
