Job Description
Groupon is seeking a RTB/Adserver Specialist to manage and optimize programmatic channels, oversee direct client campaigns, and ensure the effective operation of the ad server (Google Ad Manager). This role involves close collaboration with internal teams such as Yield Management, Ad Operations, and Sales to maximize advertising revenue and campaign effectiveness.
The RTB/Adserver Specialist role involves:
- Managing and optimizing programmatic channels, including tools like CMP, Prebid, and IAB standards.
- Setting up, managing, and optimizing campaigns in Google Ad Manager.
- Launching new advertising platforms and channels.
- Analyzing data to improve campaign results using tools like Power BI and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Acting as the main point of contact for ad delivery and technical issues.
- Collaborating with Sales, Account Management, and Product teams.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Extensive knowledge of Google Ad Manager and other ad-serving platforms.
- Understanding of complex ad technologies, including tag-based setups, header bidding, and RTB environments.
- Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Power BI and Google Sheets.
- Experience in troubleshooting ad delivery issues and managing third-party tracking tools.
- Familiarity with industry regulations like GDPR and best practices for data privacy.
- Experience with major SSPs like Magnite, Pubmatic, Xandr, and IndexExchange.
- Experience with Prebid and Header Bidding.
