Lightspeed is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their finance team in Montreal. This role involves contributing to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, performing technical accounting analyses, and participating in various projects across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Contributing to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Preparing analyses supporting financial statements.
• Producing accounting analyses compliant with IFRS standards.
• Participating in internal and external audit processes.
• Improving the implementation of Workiva and Leasequery.
• Participating in special projects.

Requirements:

• CPA title or accreditation in progress.
• At least 3 years of experience as an auditor, accountant, or finance professional.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS technical accounting.
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting.
• Passion for technical accounting and desire to improve knowledge.
• Experience requiring attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
