Ping Identity is seeking a Strategic Account Executive for the DACH region. This role reports to the Regional Sales Director and focuses on acquiring new logos and upselling within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will utilize internal resources, a broad tech stack, and a global partner directory to achieve success.   • Creating and implementing a personal plan aligned with the regional sales strategy.
  • Positioning and articulating the value proposition to customers.
  • Negotiating and closing complex contracts with global partners.
  • Reporting on sales activity and forecasts to senior management.
  • Preparing indicative subscription pricing and customer offers.
  • Providing customer feedback to marketing, customer success, product management, and engineering teams.
  • Significant quota-carrying experience selling enterprise software solutions.
  • A proven record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Experience signing strategic and large projects with long and complex sales cycles.
  • Established C-level contacts within the sector.
  • A successful record of dealing with strategic buyers.
  • Deep knowledge of key drivers of change in the industry.
  • Experience working with regional, national and global partners and system integrators.
  • Prior training and experience in value selling and account planning methodologies.
