Quality Control (VQC) Inspector / Drafting Engineer at Xometry Europe

Xometry is seeking a Quality Control (VQC) Inspector / Drafting Engineer to support rapid customer growth. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, using passion, quality manufacturing technical experience, and strong problem-solving skills to continuously improve Virtual Quality Control processes within Quality Assurance.The successful candidate will interact with various teams including DFM Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Case Management, and the Supply Chain, while supporting Contract Manufacturers. Effective communication in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment is essential.Responsibilities:

• Conducting Virtual Quality Control inspections by reviewing documents and photos in the Xometry Partner Portal and ERP.
• Managing rework through internal and external resources.
• Working closely with Case Management, Partner Support, and MRB to ensure quick turnaround time.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly in English (B2-C1 level).
• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience dimensionally inspecting manufactured products.
• Experience in the role of drafting engineer from 1 years.
• Minimum of 2 years working with General Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Able to read/interpret mechanical drawings, including assembly drawings.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Capable of interpreting and developing Dimensional Inspection Reports.
• Reliable internet connection.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
