Quality Control (VQC) Inspector / Drafting Engineer at Xometry Europe

Xometry is seeking a Quality Control (VQC) Inspector / Drafting Engineer. The role involves supporting Xometry's rapid customer growth by performing Virtual Quality Control inspections, reviewing documents and photos, and managing rework. The successful candidate will interact with various teams and the Supply Chain network, requiring effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities include:

• Conducting Virtual Quality Control inspections.
• Reviewing required documents and photos.
• Managing rework through internal and external resources.
• Collaborating with Case Management, Partner Support, and MRB.

Requirements:

• Ability to clearly communicate in English (B2-C1).
• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience dimensionally inspecting manufactured products.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a drafting engineer, preferably in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years working with General Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Able to read/interpret mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret and develop Dimensional Inspection Reports.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work part of the day in Eastern Time Zone (UTC - 4).
• Reliable internet connection.
• Strong attention to detail.
