Senior Automation QA Engineer - Web & Mobile (Java) at Delasport

Delasport is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to enhance their iGaming software platform. The candidate will contribute to building a unified, scalable automation framework supporting high-quality software delivery across platforms. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams and shaping the QA strategy.

Role involves:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web and mobile platforms using Java, Selenium, and Appium.
• Creating and maintaining BDD-style test scripts using Cucumber for end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing.
• Implementing and managing Page Object Model (POM) and other best practices.
• Performing API testing using tools like RestAssured or Postman.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Using cloud-based platforms like BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Conducting test result analysis and continuously improving test coverage and reliability.
• Collaborating with developers, QA, and DevOps to ensure proper test environments and smooth release cycles.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing with Java.
• Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
• Hands-on experience with Appium or a strong interest in mobile test automation (iOS and Android).
• Proficiency in BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and test management using TestNG.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and tools like Jenkins, Git.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and experience testing them.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams.
