Unybrands is seeking a Supplier Account Manager to strategically manage suppliers and product categories, driving competitiveness and enhancing supply chain performance. The role involves building strong supplier relationships, conducting competitive bidding, and sourcing new suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Negotiate commercial terms.
- Drive supplier performance reviews.
- Monitor supplier risks and opportunities.
- Track and report on supplier performance.
- Develop and execute category strategies.
- Analyze market trends and cost structures.
- Implement risk management plans.
- Conduct competitive bidding activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supplier management, category management, or procurement, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Strong background in competitive sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Deep understanding of procurement processes, cost analysis, and category management strategies.
- Knowledge of commodity markets, should-cost analysis, and procurement tools/software.
- Proficiency in data analysis, research and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple categories and projects simultaneously.
- Fluent English Speaker
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations as needed.
