UX Designer at UpKeep

UpKeep is seeking a UX Designer to help shape the future of its product in collaboration with product and engineering teams. The UX Designer will have the opportunity to improve processes and tools, build the Product Design team, and integrate an elegant experience across web apps, mobile apps, industrial internet of things, machine learning, and analytics.

The role involves:

• Shaping the Product Design function.
• Leading the organization through strong product design research techniques and insights.
• Guiding the execution of great design across products, form factors, and teams.
• Designing cohesive experiences that solve user problems.
• Collaborating with other designers to scale and maintain a design system.
• Conducting cross-functional workshops to advance important initiatives.

The candidate should have:

• 5 - 7 years of experience as UX/Product Designer.
• Mobile and Web application design experience.
• A strong portfolio that showcases a track record of shipping high-quality visual and interaction design work.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
• Experience in driving a user-centered design process and working collaboratively to ship end-to-end features at scale.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to iterate with low-fidelity sketches and translate them into high-fidelity designs.
• A strong grasp of how data can enhance an experience without overwhelming the user.
• Experience with Figma, Storybook, and Jira.
