Platform Engineer (DevOps) at Majority

MAJORITY is looking for a Platform Engineer (DevOps) to join their team in Sweden. The ideal candidate will help maintain deployment pipelines, databases, infrastructure, and security posture. This role involves handling non-functional aspects of the system, on-call duties, and conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) with new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings. The Platform Engineer will also be expected to script and automate day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist development teams with automation and architecture.
• Automate and drive security and compliance for PCI Level-1 and SOC2.
• Improve platform performance, focusing on fast response time and scalability.
• Further develop internal tools for dev teams, driving continuous delivery.
• Continue microservice architecture construction with Kubernetes, Istio, and Terraform.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing tools and platforms in cloud environments.
• Extensive experience with Docker orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Solid Linux experience.
• Development/Scripting experience, preferably in Python.
• Understanding of CI/CD and experience with build tools such as AzureDevops.
• Production experience with monitoring, logging, and distributed systems.
