Platform Science is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to coordinate feature releases across multiple teams. The role is based in Leuven, Belgium.
The Engineering Project Manager will work with product management to identify product priorities and key features for each quarter. They will ensure the complete end-to-end scope of features and key projects is identified and split into components assigned to the appropriate scrum teams, including definition, architecture, development, beta testing, go-live, and final migration activities. The Project Manager will be responsible for regular follow-up on progress, reporting status to management, and proactively addressing risks, delays, and issues.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating feature releases across multiple teams
- Identifying, escalating, and resolving impediments
- Progress reporting to senior management
- Scope control and governance
- Coordinating with product management to identify product priorities
- Ensuring the complete end-to-end scope of features and key projects is identified
- Following up on the progress of key deliverables
- Reporting status to management
- Proactively chasing execution of tasks across all departments
- Flagging risks, delays, and unexpected issues
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of total experience
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience working with Agile and DevOps software development teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Result and deadline focus
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- English speaking, additional languages a plus
- Agile certification (SAFe Release Train Engineer) and/or PMI/PMBok certified
- Belgian work permit, residency, and driver's license required
