Fospha, a Blenheim Chalcot portfolio company, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to contribute to their data-driven success. This role involves working with the Service Desk Manager to schedule, prioritize, and assign tasks to team members, guaranteeing timely resolution of support issues. The Technical Support Specialist will oversee the resolution of application problems for employees and customers, ensuring efficient and professional support that aligns with business needs. Furthermore, the role includes driving continuous improvement in data processes, promoting a culture of data excellence, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.Responsibilities include:
  • Scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning tasks to team members.
  • Fostering a collaborative, customer-focused team environment.
  • Overseeing the resolution of application problems.
  • Performing root cause analysis of recurring issues.
  • Developing and implementing best practices for support and incident management.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base.
  • Collaborating with other teams to support organizational goals.
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports on IT support performance.
Requirements include:
  • Strong knowledge of Database structures and Query language (ideally Postgres).
  • Experience with documentation, helpdesk software, ticketing and messaging tools (Notion, JIRA, and Slack).
  • Basic understanding of cloud services and IT infrastructure (ideally AWS, SFTP and SSH).

The Fospha UK team is based at the Scale Space tech campus in West London, with a minimum 4 day/week office policy.
