Job Description
The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) is seeking a Regional Director, LATAM to drive business development efforts across the Latin American region. This role will be a key public-facing voice, educating the region about the Stellar ecosystem. The Regional Director will coordinate SDF activities, from business development with developers and financial institutions to event planning and policy initiatives. They will also support the partnership team and company objectives.
Role involves:
- Business development to expand DeFi, increase monthly addresses, and drive asset tokenization.
- Assisting on regulatory and government relations needs in the region.
- Assisting in planning and running events in the region.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in business development within blockchain, fintech, or financial services.
- 2+ years of experience in the blockchain industry.
- Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape.
- Accountability and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and judgment.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive.
- Ability to travel frequently.
