Regional Director, LATAM

Job Description

The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) is seeking a Regional Director to drive business development efforts across LATAM. This person will serve as a key regional public-facing voice and thought leader, educating the region about the Stellar ecosystem. They will coordinate all SDF activity in the area, from business development to event planning and policy initiatives. The Regional Director will support the partnership team and company objectives, owning primary OKRs.

Responsibilities include:

• Business development for DeFi, monthly addresses, and asset tokenization.
• Assisting on regulatory and government relations needs in region.
• Assisting the Ecosystem team to identify, plan, and run events in region.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in business development roles within blockchain, fintech, or financial services
• 2+ years of experience in the blockchain industry
• Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape
• Ability to communicate regional progress to stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Self starter with an entrepreneurial drive
• The ability to travel as needed
