Job Description
Gigster is seeking an HR Knowledge Advisor to join their Talent Network. In this role, the advisor will support a member-driven organization focused on shaping better workplaces. The HR Knowledge Advisor will leverage their HR expertise to provide resources and guidance to members, answering HR-related questions and staying updated on HR trends and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provides information, resources and practical guidance in response to members’ HR-related questions
- Monitors changes in federal and state laws and regulations and other current topics in HR
- Identifies trends in member interests and in HR practices for planning and resource development purposes
- Partners with management to plan and implement strategic initiatives in support of the organization’s goals, mission, and vision
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred
- Active SHRM - CP or SHRM - SCP certification is mandatory
- Five years of progressive experience in all areas of human resource management with practical, hands-on HR generalist experience or eight years of progressive professional experience in lieu of a degree
- Strong collaboration and team engagement skills
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and an ability to create innovative solutions to meet member needs
- Excellent internet researching skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
What Gigster offers:
