Job Description

Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze business needs, develop solutions, and facilitate the implementation of strategic initiatives. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to create business and/or functional requirements necessary for technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and business objectives.
  • Document and analyze business requirements, translate them into business requirements documents (BRDs) and user stories.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather input and provide updates.
  • Identify, implement ongoing continuous improvement opportunities to maximize team/process efficiencies and monitor their impact.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • 2 years of experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Strong background in requirement gathering, functional specification development, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in business, data analysis and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Rally, JIRA, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar.
  • Must be highly analytical, well-organized and possess strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
