Lightspeed is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager, Partner Commissions to oversee and manage commission programs for its partners. This role involves managing a team of commission specialists, creating, managing, and optimizing commission structures, and ensuring fairness and accuracy in commission calculations. The Manager will work closely with internal teams such as partnerships, marketing, finance, and information systems to track performance, reconcile payments, and provide insights into commission program effectiveness.Responsibilities include:
- Managing partner commission programs
- Calculating commissions and processing payments
- Tracking and reporting commissions data
- Resolving commission disputes
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams
- Analyzing and optimizing program performance
- Managing systems and tools for commission tracking
- Leading efforts to standardize partner contracts
- Managing and enabling an team
Requirements include:
- 5-7 years of experience in finance, sales operations, commissions, or related field
- Excellent understanding of commission structures and sales incentive plans
- Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce
- Proficiency in Excel or similar data analysis tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
