The Director of Industry Engagement role at Constructor University involves leading strategic outreach to build relationships with industry partners and promote the university's research and educational services. The Director will work within the Research and Transfer Office and translate academic innovation into impactful industrial collaborations.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and targeting potential industrial partners for collaborative research.
- Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with corporate leaders.
- Negotiating and securing contracts for funded research and joint projects.
- Collaborating with faculty and research teams to market their expertise.
- Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Representing the university to promote research capabilities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of business development or industry engagement experience.
- Proven track record in securing high-value partnerships and contracts.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of research commercialization and industry engagement strategies.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.
- Must be based in Europe and willing to travel up to 20-25% of the time.
