ClearScore is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their growing engineering team in London. The role involves influencing critical ClearScore services and tools, developing integrations with new partners globally, and contributing to a global microservices architecture written in Scala.
The Engineer will:
- Develop integrations with new partners globally.
- Participate in the transition towards an event-driven architecture, utilising Kafka.
- Work with the Typelevel Stack, Kafka, SBT and Pekko HTTP.
- Participate in a Quality Assistance programme to build, test, release and monitor their own work
- Collaborate with business development teams to onboard new commercial partners.
ClearScore requires:
- Experience with Scala (or desire to learn).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of REST APIs.

They will be joining a squad collaborating closely with business development teams to onboard new commercial partners and facilitating the migration of legacy services.
