IONOS, a leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, is seeking a Specialist (f/m/d) Data Privacy to join their Group CTO division. The ideal candidate will work towards data protection awareness, compliance, and documentation within the CTO division. This role involves representing IONOS Group in audits and certifications, advising employees and managers on data protection issues, and acting as an interface to the Data Protection Officer.

Role Involves:

  • Data Protection Coordination in the CTO division.
  • Representing IONOS Group in audits and certifications.
  • Advising employees and managers on data protection issues.
  • Developing recommendations for data protection-compliant solutions.
  • Acting as an interface to the Data Protection Officer.
  • Reporting on activities and maturity levels of management systems.
  • Collaborating on organizational and technical security issues.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed university studies in computer science, industrial engineering, data protection, or similar.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and other relevant international data protection regulations.
  • Certificate as a “Data Protection Officer” or “Data Protection Auditor” is a plus.
  • Experience in convincing specialist departments in an international organization to implement standards and processes.
  • Knowledge of international and national standards and norms such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 27018, ISO 50001, BSI IT-Grundschutz or C5 is helpful.
  • Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics and communicate complex issues effectively.
  • Confident communication skills in English and German, both orally and in writing.
