Principal Solution Architect at Astera Labs

Astera Labs is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect in China to drive the development of data center connectivity solutions. This role involves engaging with customers to develop innovative solutions for Chinese hyperscale data centers. The Principal Solutions Architect will help facilitate Astera’s development of data center connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Driving the definition of future products.
• Leveraging expertise in system architecture, SOC architecture, and various technologies (PCIe/CXL/UALink/Ethernet).
• Developing innovative solutions to address bottlenecks in Chinese hyperscale data centers.
• Engaging with customers (hyperscalers, OEMs, and ODMs).

Requirements:

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (MS or PhD preferred).
• ≥10 years' experience developing high-speed connectivity solutions for data centers.
• Experience in a customer-facing role with the ability to articulate technical concepts.
• Strong understanding of chip design principles and AI datacenter system architecture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout China and occasionally to the United States.
