Consulting Delivery Manager at ControlPlane

ControlPlane is seeking a Consulting Delivery Manager to oversee client engagements and internal projects, while also leading a team of consultants. The role involves a blend of delivery execution and consultant management, ensuring project success and supporting the professional growth of the consulting team.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the successful execution of internal and consulting projects.
• Tracking and managing project budgets.
• Acting as the primary delivery lead for key engagements.
• Creating delivery plans and providing progress reports.
• Managing risks and resolving issues.
• Conducting regular one-on-one meetings to support individual growth and performance.
• Ensuring consultants have the resources, guidance, and feedback they need to succeed in client engagements.
• Assisting in squad formation and resource allocation.
• Working with leadership to forecast resource needs and manage team capacity.

Requirements include:

• Proven experience in agile delivery management, ideally in cloud security, DevSecOps, or cloud native technologies.
• Previous experience managing consultants, engineers, or technical teams.
• Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, or other agile methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to track and report on project progress, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Passion for helping others grow and develop in their careers.
• A consultancy mindset, with the ability to balance technical depth and client expectations.
