Frontend-Focused Full Stack Developer at Carbonfuture

Carbonfuture is seeking a Frontend-Focused Full Stack Developer to contribute to the development of its climate solutions. The role involves crafting user experiences and contributing across the stack, from APIs to integrations. The developer will collaborate with the CTO and product team, with opportunities for ownership and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the development of engaging, scalable frontend features.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to create user experiences.
• Translate product and data requirements into UI components and user flows.
• Contribute across the stack, including APIs and backend logic.
• Engage with customers to understand pain points and iterate on solutions.
• Participate in architectural and UI/UX design discussions.
• Support DevOps, CI/CD, and post-deployment improvements.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience building web applications across the frontend and backend.
• Passion for crafting user interfaces.
• Experience with React (or similar), HTML/CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Comfortable with backend technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Understanding of software architecture and collaborative development workflows.
• Autonomy, creativity, and intrinsic motivation.
• Command of English (German is a plus).
• Open to occasional travel.
