Fullstack Software Engineer at Karbon

Karbon is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join their agile development team in Sydney. The Fullstack Software Engineer will design and build interactive web applications. They are responsible for technical specifications and developing and deploying software.

The role involves:

• Balancing speed and quality in software development.
• Working effectively as part of a team.
• Building and maintaining Karbon software applications.
• Optimizing user experiences and studying user-centric data.
• Experimenting with acquisition channels and fine-tuning conversion funnels.
• Taking ownership of work and bringing passion to the team.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience with C#, SQL Server, .Net (MVC, WCF, Web API, .Net Core a plus) and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience in A/B testing and data analysis to optimize key metrics such as user acquisition and retention
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Initiative and passion for web development
• Ability to work as part of a team and take ownership of work
• Passion for user behavior and developing consumer-facing software
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent experience
