Fullstack Software Engineer at Karbon

Karbon is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join their agile development team in Canberra, Australia. The Fullstack Software Engineer will design and build interactive web applications, create technical specifications, and deploy software. The engineer will balance speed and quality, collaborate effectively within a team, and maintain existing products while developing innovative ones.

The role involves optimizing user experiences, studying user-centric data, experimenting with acquisition channels, and fine-tuning conversion funnels. The ideal candidate is curious, autonomous, and takes pride in their work, contributing to a culture free from office politics.

Responsibilities include:

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience with C#, SQL Server, .Net (MVC, WCF, Web API, .Net Core a plus) and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience in A/B testing and data analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Initiative and passion for web development
• Ability to work in a team and take ownership of work
• Passion for user behavior and consumer-facing software
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent experience
