Job Description
A company is looking for a Network Engineer to design and optimize low latency network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will lead efforts in automating network processes, reducing latency, and ensuring high-performance network operations.
What this role involves:
- Network Architecture and Automation: Design and automate complex network infrastructures using zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
- Latency Optimization: Conduct advanced research and experimentation to identify and implement strategies for reducing network latency and optimizing network performance
- Cloud Services Management: Manage and optimize cloud services from providers like AWS, GCP or AliCloud to ensure low latency and high availability
- Scripting and Automation: Develop advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go, and other languages to automate complex network tasks and workflows
Requirements:
- Advanced Network Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer networks, with a vendor-agnostic approach to routing and switching principles
- Proficiency in Routing Protocols: Experience with IP routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
- Cloud Experience: Significant experience managing cloud services
- Scripting Skills: Advanced skills in scripting languages for automation purposes
- Experience with Network Automation Tools: Familiarity with tools like Ansible or similar automation platforms
