Sr. UX Engineer at ScienceLogic

ScienceLogic is seeking a Senior UX Engineer to join their product team. The Senior UX Engineer will work closely with product managers, engineers, and users to deliver intuitive and scalable experiences across multiple product lines. This role requires a blend of design and engineering skills, with responsibilities including crafting product designs and building front-end implementations.

The Senior UX Engineer will be responsible for:

• Translating customer problems into designs using UX research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visuals.
• Implementing UI components in React or Vue, contributing to front-end architecture.
• Collaborating with product managers and engineers to explore ideas and ship improvements.
• Maintaining a cohesive design language and user experience across products.
• Leading or supporting user research to inform decisions.
• Championing accessibility, responsiveness, and UX performance.
• Contributing to a shared component library and design system.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 5+ years of experience in UX design, front-end engineering, or a hybrid role.
• Strong proficiency in React and/or Vue, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) and prototyping workflows.
• Experience working in agile product teams.
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating experience in designing and building end-to-end user experiences.
