Associate II, Human Pluripotent Stem Cell (hPSC) Biology at Aspect Biosystems

Aspect Biosystems is seeking an Associate II, Human Pluripotent Stem Cell (hPSC) Biology, to join their R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and performing projects related to hPSC-based cell therapies, reporting to the Scientist, Cell Biology.

Responsibilities:

• Perform aseptic hPSC culture tasks including maintenance, characterization, cryopreservation, and routine passaging.
• Perform and design flow cytometry analyses to characterize hPSCs and differentiated cells
• Execute scientific studies to support the development of hepatic bioprinted tissue therapeutics.
• Drive key program milestones and direction by analyzing data, interpreting results, and presenting information through experimental reports and presentations.
• Maintain clear and rigorous experimental records, including electronic laboratory notebooks.
• Draft experimental protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Proactively investigate and improve existing methods and techniques.
• Contribute technical expertise in hPSC biology and directed differentiation to shape therapeutic strategies and programs.

Requirements:

• A BSc. with over 3 or MSc. with over 1 year of relevant experience in cell biology or a related discipline.
• Experience in long-term hPSC culture is required.
• Aseptic cell culture technique is required.
• Must be available to work on weekends and holidays on a rotating team schedule.
