Job Description
Stronghold Investment Management is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join their tech team in Bangalore. This internship is exclusively for IIT students and offers hands-on experience in a high-performance engineering environment. The intern will collaborate with experienced engineers and analysts on projects spanning internal tools, APIs, data pipelines, and research infrastructure.
Role involves:
- Building internal tools and APIs in collaboration with engineers and quants
- Writing clean, maintainable code using Ruby, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, AWS
- Supporting ETL pipelines, backend services, and data integrations
- Participating in code reviews, unit testing, and sprint planning
- Analyzing system performance and recommend optimizations
- Contributing to documentation and agile development cycles
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Ruby, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.)
- Familiarity with web frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or React
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
