Sterlington, an international law firm, is seeking a Senior Investment & Financial Modelling Analyst to join their team. This role is crucial for building financial frameworks and assessing deal value and risk, ensuring data-led decisions for the Partner team and clients. The ideal candidate will possess extensive financial modeling experience and sharp analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, including business valuations and discounted cash flow analysis.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess performance, profitability, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide insights on equity returns, market conditions, and economic factors.
- Analyze the impact of interest rate environments on corporate financial structures and valuations.
- Support the firm's executive compensation practice with financial modeling.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial guidance.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor performance.
- Provide ongoing financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Work closely with global teams, particularly in the US time zone.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a financial or statistical modeling role.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, financial modelling software, and reporting tools.
- In-depth knowledge of equity returns, economics, and company performance factors.
- Familiarity with executive compensation structures.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information.
- Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote, global environment.
