Sterlington, an international law firm, is seeking a Senior Investment & Financial Modelling Analyst to join their team. This role involves working closely with the Managing Partner and Corporate Partners to build financial frameworks and assess deal value and risk, ensuring data-led decisions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive financial modeling experience and sharp analytical skills to support the firm's growth.
Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain financial models, including business valuations and discounted cash flow analysis.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess performance and profitability.
- Provide insights on equity returns and market conditions.
- Analyze the impact of interest rate environments.
- Support the firm's executive compensation practice with financial modeling.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial guidance.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor performance.
- Provide ongoing financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Work closely with global teams, particularly in the US time zone.
Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a financial or statistical modeling role.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, financial modelling software, and reporting tools.
- In-depth knowledge of equity returns and economics.
- Familiarity with executive compensation structures.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information.
- Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote, global environment.
