Senior Systems Architect - Interoperability & Standards (all genders) at DigitalService GmbH des Bundes

The Digital Service of the Federal Government is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to contribute to the development and establishment of nationwide interoperability standards. The role involves shaping the future of digital administration through digitalization projects.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and evaluating national and EU-wide interoperability standards.
• Developing solutions and recommendations in collaboration with experts.
• Standardizing technical and semantic standards with various administrative units.
• Documenting project results and providing technical support for regulations and governance structures.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in analyzing IT landscapes and designing scalable structures for interoperability.
• Skills in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) for defining Bounded Contexts.
• Experience in API design and governance (REST, GraphQL).
• Knowledge of structured data flows and semantic harmonization.
• Ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in German (C1 level) and English.
