Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack at North One

North One is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack to join their Engineering team. The candidate will report to the Senior Engineering Manager. North One is a remote-first, venture-backed startup focused on reshaping financial services for small businesses across America.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering high quality code for features on the product roadmap.
• Architecting efficient solutions that follow best practices for secure web products.
• Partnering with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate product requirements into technical implementation plans.
• Leveling up the quality of existing codebases by identifying and breaking down risks or areas of technical debt.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building web products.
• Experience in multiple modern programming languages and frameworks (such as Typescript, Go, Python).
• Comfortable contributing across multiple areas of the development stack.
• Experience working directly with cloud infrastructure and services, such as Google Cloud and/or AWS.
• Strong understanding of API protocols and best practices.
• Experience being a senior member of a team, designing new patterns, breaking down complex requirements, and leading others to accomplish a goal.
• Strong communicator and collaborator.
• Experience working on an Agile scrum team with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc).
