IONOS is seeking a Key Account Manager (w/m/d) to join their team, focusing on the public sector, specifically internal and external security. The role is available in Berlin, Karlsruhe, or Cologne. IONOS is the leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and hosting services.

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for the entire sales process, from identifying business opportunities to handling tenders and successfully closing contracts. They will build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with strategic customers in the public sector, especially security authorities and institutions.

The role involves:

  • Managing the entire sales process in the field of internal and external security.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic customers.
  • Developing and implementing customized solutions.
  • Conducting market analyses and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Actively participating in the negotiation and coordination of large projects.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to efficiently implement customer requirements and projects.
  • Promoting IONOS's market presence through targeted sales activities and strategies.

Requirements include:

  • Several years of experience in sales in the public sector, preferably in internal and external security.
  • Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and security architectures.
  • In-depth understanding of the specific requirements, regulations, and processes in internal and external security.
  • Successful implementation of sales strategies and projects in security-relevant areas.
  • A valid security clearance (SÜ2 or SÜ3) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
