Groupon is seeking an HRIS Analyst to join their team in Valencia. This role will focus on optimizing and streamlining HR systems, primarily Workday. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the HR systems are running at their best.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday functionality, configuration, and daily support.
- Configure and maintain core Workday modules (HCM, Core HR).
- Partner with business leaders to identify pain points and propose scalable Workday solutions.
- Own Workday reporting, security, EIB (mass data uploads), testing, and troubleshooting.
- Lead efforts in Workday feature releases — regression testing, UAT, analysis, and deployment.
- Collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement and Workday roadmap adoption.
- Document business requirements and translate them into functional specs and solutions.
- Support cyclical HR processes (Annual Pay Review, Open Enrollment, Performance Reviews).
- Deliver great service — answering queries, solving problems, and keeping things moving smoothly.
Requirements:
- Work experience configuring Workday across 3+ modules.
- Feeling confident managing Workday security roles, permissions, and business processes.
- HRIS project management experience, including stakeholder engagement and documentation.
- Proven Workday functional expertise — you know what it can (and can’t) do.
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience handling sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills — able to explain technical topics to non-tech folks.
- A team player who adapts quickly and brings resilience to a scaling operations environment.
