Veo is seeking a Repair Technician in Manhattan, Kansas, to maintain and repair its electric vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, enjoy problem-solving, and be passionate about making communities safe and sustainable. Veo is bringing the next generation of mobility sharing to cities and universities globally through electric bikes and scooters.
This role involves performing comprehensive repairs, conducting quality checks, tracking maintenance records, managing inventory, and performing field tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive repairs on Veo’s electric bikes/scooters.
- Conduct quality checks and routine inspections.
- Follow processes to log and track maintenance records.
- Track inventory levels for spare parts.
- Maintain excellent warehouse organization.
- Perform field tasks such as swapping batteries and redistribution.
Requirements:
- At least 1+ years of experience in maintenance/ auto repair.
- Ability to lift, carry, push and pull electric bikes/scooters weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Problem-solving mindset and self-motivated.
- Comfortable with navigating and using smartphone apps.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
