Scalapay is seeking an Account Manager - Travel to cultivate lasting relationships with merchant partners in the Italian Travel sector. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of assigned merchants, actively pursuing new sales avenues, and identifying business opportunities with existing partners. The Account Manager will also gather, analyze, and report on key data points.

The role with Scalapay involves:

  • Retaining and growing portfolio by leading sales calls and business reviews.
  • Managing the Go-Live of assigned portfolio.
  • Optimizing integration and collaboration to achieve maximum penetration.
  • Providing consultancy to merchants on how to optimize revenue and marketing.
  • Managing co-marketing activities with merchants.
  • Using data analysis to spot business opportunities.
  • Creating case studies and best practices regularly.
  • Testing new approaches to increase Total Transaction Volume and Revenue.
  • Supporting team and the overall strategy.
  • Meeting merchants face-to-face regularly.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends.

Scalapay requires:

  • Experience in upselling and cross selling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, organized and data-driven profile.
  • Ability to manage concurrent multiple projects and execute on tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English.
  • 3/5 years experience in account management and/or business consultant, preferably in Travel industry.
