Junior UI UX Designer (all genders) - Berlin, Germany at simplesurance

Simplesurance, part of Allianz since 2022, is seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer to join their team in Berlin. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative projects, enhance design systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role involves:

• Contributing to high-quality UI assets for product features.
• Contributing to UX outputs such as mockups, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Enriching, maintaining, and curating design system components.
• Supporting and optimizing design workflows, processes, and tools.
• Collaborating with team members to align on goals and share feedback.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent experience in a design-related field.
• Demonstrated skills in designing for apps and web.
• Proven ability to expand design systems.
• Basic understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance).
• Exceptional self-organization and basic project management skills.
• Strong English communication skills (German proficiency is a plus).
