C++ Engineer at Pico

Pico, a global company headquartered in New York, is seeking a C++ Engineer to join its world-leading engineering team in Krakow. The C++ Engineer will work on the design and development of new features across Pico’s entire product range. The role involves:

• Designing and developing new features across Pico’s entire product range.
• Working with a team of highly skilled engineers.
• Solving problems encountered when analyzing network data in real time.
• Providing solutions for consumers of real-time and historical market data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of development experience
• Expert proficiency in C++ development under Linux
• Experience in using Python, shell scripting, makefiles, etc.
• Understanding of algorithms and design patterns
• Multi-threaded application development
• Automated testing (unit testing, integration testing)
• Linux-based development environments, including tools such as gdb and valgrind
• IP networking knowledge
