Business Analyst at Garda Capital Partners

Garda Capital Partners, a multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm, seeks a Business Analyst to join its Research and Technology (R&T) group in Geneva. The Business Analyst will enhance and support the firm's trading and risk system, Orchestrade. This role involves interfacing with various functions, including front office, risk, middle, and back office.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a systems expert for Orchestrade-related inquiries.
• Manage full lifecycle activities for projects, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Gather requirements, perform analysis, configure systems, conduct testing, and manage delivery.
• Collaborate with the technical team to analyze and resolve technical issues and develop new solutions.
• Work with business teams to define new processes and improve/automate existing ones.
• Provide ongoing systems and business support to internal teams.

Requirements:

• 4-year degree (Finance, Math, Econ, Accounting, or Computer Science preferred).
• Expertise in configuring, testing, and supporting trading/investment banking systems like Orchestrade, Front Arena, Murex, or Calypso.
• Good knowledge of trade booking and valuation for FI/Equities/FX.
• Ability to interpret and implement business requirements in relevant systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete complex projects independently.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, time-sensitive team environment.
