Twist Bioscience is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to expand its market presence in South Korea within the Bioscience (SynBio) and Biopharma sectors. The role involves managing and growing key accounts related to DNA/gene synthesis under the Synthetic Biology portfolio, and developing relationships with pharmaceutical, biopharma, and biotech companies to promote Twist Biopharma Solutions.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to expand market share.
  • Develop strategic plans to promote Twist Biopharma Solutions.
  • Identify potential clients and establish strong professional relationships.
  • Research, prospect, and build connections with new clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals.
  • Participate in pricing discussions and negotiations.
  • Handle objections and resolve differences effectively.
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing client relationships.
  • Coordinate with technical staff to meet customer needs and develop revenue streams.
  • Organize and participate in client debriefs.
  • Attend industry events to gain market insights.
  • Present business trends and growth opportunities to management.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to boost sales.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or bioscience sales.
  • Good understanding of gene synthesis and Antibody drug discovery.
  • Strong network within the biopharma and bioscience sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of building client relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biosciences, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage projects across different teams.
